HOUSTON—Jurors hearing the lawsuit against Victoria Osteen will get the day off Monday, with testimony scheduled to resume Tuesday in Houston.

The wife of renowned pastor Joel Osteen testified Friday that she did not yell at a Continental Airlines flight attendant or assault her over a stain on a first-class seat.

Osteen also said she was dumbfounded that flight attendant Sharon Brown accused her of assault. The incident allegedly occurred before the start of a 2005 flight from Houston to Vail, Colo.

Brown alleges in her suit that Victoria Osteen attacked her when she didn’t get her way after the spill on her seat wasn’t quickly cleaned up. But Osteen testified that it was Brown who became upset.

The Osteens were called as witnesses by Brown’s attorney.
