The write stuff
It might be the era of electronic correspondence, but that didn’t stop Taryn Walsh, Kelly Lessman and Jenny Bunker from opening Scribbles, a paper goods boutique in the lower Highland neighborhood. They renovated a 120-year-old building and now sell stationery, cards and invitations on the main floor, and designed a bridal suite on the second floor for picking out wedding invitations. Special customers might even be invited to the rooftop garden. The store can turn out custom print invitations in as little as three days, has a men’s stationery section and a baby department, and is selling cards designed by local artists. The owners also will host classes on etiquette, thank-you notes, gift wrapping, etc. starting in September. 2368 15th St., 303-477-1677.
