A 25-year-old Evans man faces four drug charges after his arrest this morning in the wake of a fight at an Evans motel.
Dillon Wight was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance/intent to sell, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Evans police said that at about 1:05 a.m., they responded to a disturbance at the Select Stay Motel, 3025 Eighth Ave., and found that Wight and Crystal Perez had been fighting in one of the rooms.
Perez was arrested for assaulting Wight. While in the room, officers found illegal narcotics that they determined to be in Wight’s possession, police said.
The drugs — a small amount of marijuana and 23.2 grams of methamphetamine — appeared to be packaged for distribution.
Wight also was found to be in possession of $2,900, police said.
