WHO GETS IN: Only those people who have community credentials and those delegates, pages or guests credentialed for the Pepsi Center.
GATES OPEN: 1 p.m. Arrive early. Security checks will be in place and are expected to take some time. Those holding community credentials will sit in assigned sections, but seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Walking, biking or public transit is encouraged. There is no parking at the stadium. Some metered parking on streets, parking garages and lots outside the area will be available.
Walking: Access the stadium through lower Colfax Avenue and Decatur Street.
Bikers: Bike parking is available at Rude Park, just southwest of the stadium on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Public transit: RTD will run two, free shuttles, both starting at Coors Field parking lots. A direct route starts at Coors B-1 lot to the drop-off at 5th and Walnut Street. The other begins at 22nd and Blake Street, and makes stops at existing RTD stops along Broadway. Drop-off is at Decatur Street and Howard Place. For a list of bus stops, visit rtd-denver.com.
Shuttles will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Return routs run for about 90 minutes after the event.
RTD Light Rail will run extra trains at peak hours. The Pepsi Center Station will remain closed. Routes C and E stop at Invesco Field at Mile High Station. Expect park ‘n’ ride lots to be filled by early morning commuters, so plan to be dropped off at stations or transfer from bus routes.
