Poison is a hair-metal revival act of such luminous, apocalyptic plasticity that it’s hard to believe it recovered from its trendy excesses to play a venue such as Fiddler’s Green, which it will do on Saturday with Dokken and Sebastian Bach. Even terrible, squirm-inducing soap operas have a second act, right? $20-$74.50.

Motörhead is a name that begs to be screamed from a sweaty pit, an enduring synonym for blistering, bruising hard rock that has served Lemmy — its sole remaining member — well over the band’s three-decade-plus existence. The British metal pioneers will hit the Fillmore Auditorium on Saturday with the Misfits, Airbourne, Valient Thorr and Year Long Disaster. $26-$28.

Ice Cube’s “Raw Footage” adopts a more political tone than much of his solo work (“the only rapper wanna fist-fight the president”) and features out-of-place turns from rappers Young Jeezy and Scarface. But the new disc also retains Cube’s gloriously unapologetic flows, reassuring those of us alarmed by the kiddie movies he’s stumbled into lately. Sunday at the Ogden. $39.50.
