It’s one thing to keep a food diary and count calories and quite another to analyze what nutrients are missing or what you’re getting too much of in your diet. NutritionData.com has created “My ND,” a free feature that allows users to manage their diets with a one-stop destination for logging and tracking their food choices. You can store a record of favorite, frequently used foods and customize food entries in “My Foods.” In the “My Recipes” section, you can combine individual foods, then analyze and save them as a recipe. The site generates a “Nutrition Facts” label and complete analysis of the recipe. The website has updated its consumption feature and “My Tracking” now lets users add and track the foods they eat as well as analyze their diets. Users can view a running total of what they eat and download the totals as reports. An interactive Daily Values bar chart displays the current levels of nutrients in a user’s diet and provides suggested food items that will allow a user to reach his or her recommended Daily Values.
