The only grocery store in the small town of Hermosa is closing in two weeks.
Mac’s Hermosa Market will close Sept. 27. Owners Mac and Sharon McCausland blame rising food costs and higher overhead. The McCauslands have run the store for 32 years. Hermosa is about 10 miles north of Durango.
