COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A former middle school girls basketball coach has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor harassment charge in Colorado Springs.
Gregory Jackson had faced five counts of felony sexual assault, which he denied. Prosecutors dropped those charges as part of the plea deal.
Jackson agreed to surrender his teaching certificate for a year while he’s on probation.
El Paso County Sheriff’s investigators brought the case in December after a Lewis-Palmer Middle School administrator told them parents had complained about Jackson. Jackson no longer works for the school district.
