DENVER—Driver fatigue is being investigated as a contributing factor in a one-vehicle crash in Logan County that killed an Iowa man.
The Colorado State Patrol says the man was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on Interstate 76 at about 1:10 a.m. Wednesday when he drifted off the right side of the highway.
Authorities say the driver overcorrected and skidded back onto the road before the vehicle rolled more than two times.
The man was wearing a seat belt but was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
A passenger, 44-year-old Jammie E. Forney of Glenwood, Iowa, was taken to Sterling Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
