A woman found dead on Tuesday in Rangely was shot by her husband who then turned the shotgun on himself, according to the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s office.
Autopsies showed that the deaths of Carlos Graham, 68, and his wife Lucille, 64, was a murder suicide.
Carlos Graham shot his wife in the head as she lay sleeping then sat on the bed beside her and shot himself with the 12 gauge.
Both died instantly of wounds to the head.
The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
