LONGMONT — Kyle J. Metcalf, 17, was identified Sunday as the driver of the black Subaru Legacy involved in Friday’s two-vehicle crash near North 61st Street on Colorado 66.
Metcalf died from his injuries Saturday after being airlifted to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver .
Caitlin A. Epple, 18, of Longmont was in the passenger seat of the Subaru and was killed in the 7:52 p.m. crash, said Trooper Gilbert Mares, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
