Here’s a question: Can there be such a thing as all-vocal rock ‘n’ roll music? certainly things so. The Boulder-based a cappella six-piece has carved a niche in Colorado and elsewhere over the last few years by simulating bass, drums and other rock instruments using only its vocals.
It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, for sure: the earnest beatboxing and unashamedly pop-oriented covers won’t win over any hipsters who prefer their music with a shot of irony and bourbon.
