Sixty-one-year-old Denver police technician James Edward Dennis has been charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child, according to 9News.

The charges were filed in Arapahoe County Court on Sept. 22.

According to an Aurora Police Department arrest affidavit, Dennis took a young girl out to lunch in March and then to a house for sale where no one lived.

There, the girl told police, Dennis assaulted her.
