FOXBOROUGH, MASS. — Wide receiver Brandon Stokley, tight end Tony Scheffler and running back Selvin Young are all inactive for tonight’s game against the Patriots.

Scheffler and Young also missed last week’s game with groin injuries, and Stokley suffered a concussion in the first quarter against Jacksonville on Oct. 12. He was listed as questionable for the New England game, but did not practice all week.

Defensive end John Engelberger, who started the first six games, also is inactive and will be replaced by Ebenezer Ekuban.

The other inactive players for the Broncos are: running back Ryan Torain, offensive lineman Erik Pears and defensive tackle Nic Clemons. Defensive tackle Josh Shaw is suspended, so the Broncos have only seven inactive players.

Michael Pittman will make his second consecutive start at running back and Nate Jackson again will replace Scheffler as the No. 1 receiving tight end.

The Broncos’ active receivers are Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal – back from an ankle injury – Darrell Jackson and Glenn Martinez.
