DENVER—Nearly 15 percent of Colorado’s 3.2 million registered voters have already cast ballots for the Nov. 4 election by mail or at early-voting polling places.
The Colorado secretary of state’s office says nearly 340,000 mail-in ballots had arrived at county clerks’ offices and nearly 42,000 people have cast ballots at early voting polling places.
About 60 percent of voters have requested mail-in ballots this year.
The secretary of state posts vote totals at . None of the votes have been counted, so the Web site doesn’t tell which candidates are leading, only how many people have voted.
Colorado is considered up for grabs in the presidential election, and its nine electoral votes could determine the outcome if the race is close.
