BOULDER — A Louisville mother sentenced to probation for having sex with a minor now faces up to six years in prison for continuing an intimate relationship with the boy.

Irene Gomez appeared in a Boulder courtroom Tuesday for a sentence-revocation hearing. She admitted to a judge that she had violated terms of the 20-year intensive supervised probation sentence she received June 30.

Contact with the boy and drug use were prohibited under the terms of her probation, but her probation officer says Gomez had sexual relations with the boy approximately five times and had used cocaine.

The boy, now of legal age, fathered two children with Gomez. Police say he was 13 and she was 32 when the first child was conceived.

Gomez is due in court Nov. 14.
