COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—One man was hospitalized early Tuesday after he was stabbed in the back in the parking lot of a Colorado Springs apartment complex.
Police say the 25-year-old man had been visiting friends at the complex when he went outside to get something from his car. When he failed to return after several minutes, his friends went out to look for him.
The man was discovered lying in a pool of blood in the parking lot.
Police say the victim suffered a stab wound to the upper back. He was taken to Memorial Hospital with what authorities consider a non life-threatening injury.
A motive for the attack is unclear. Officers say the victim’s wallet and other valuables were not taken.
Neither his name, nor a suspect description, have been released.
