GREELEY, Colo.—Conservative Republican Rep. Marilyn Musgrave faces a vigorous re-election challenge as Colorado’s Democrats try to increase their advantage in the state’s congressional delegation.
Musgrave faces Betsy Markey in one of the state’s most bitter races this election. She has won narrowly in both of her last two elections, but Colorado’s 4th District has become more Democratic than when it first elected Musgrave.
Voters in Colorado’s left-leaning 2nd District are deciding whether to send Internet businessman Jared Polis to Congress. That seat is overwhelmingly Democratic and has been left vacant by Rep. Mark Udall, who is running for Senate.
Democrats currently hold a 4-3 House advantage from Colorado.
