The Avalanche announced today that it has recalled forward David Jones from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League.
Jones was loaned to Lake Erie on Thursday to make a roster spot for defenseman Kyle Cumiskey. Jones, 24, has appeared in 10 games for the Avalanche this season, tallying a goal and one assist.
The Avalanche was granted a non-roster exemption, as forward Cody McCormick has been given permission to leave the team for personal reasons.
