WESTMINSTER — A fatal fire Sunday in a townhouse garage in the 8100 block of 90th Avenue is being investigated as a probable suicide, according to the Westminster Fire Department.
A 911 call came at 3:42 p.m. warning of smoke in the garage. Fire officials put out the fire in five minutes, said Diana Allen, a spokeswoman with the Westminster Fire Department.
The female victim was found dead in a minivan inside the garage. The fire caused about $75,000 damage.
The victim has not been identified, pending notification of her family.
