OMAHA, Neb.—Kenny Lawson Jr. had 16 points and three other Creighton players scored in double figures as the Bluejays defeated Central Missouri 78-65 in an exhibition game.

The Bluejays nursed a double-digit lead most of the game Sunday and led by as many as 17 points, 69-52, on a Justin Carter basket with 4:29 left.

Booker Woodfox added 15 points, Kenton Walker 14 and P’Allen Stinnett 10 for Creighton.

De’Andre Byrd led the Mules with 15 points. Central Missouri made just 2-of-22 shots from 3-point range.
