LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini is hoping for an inspired defensive effort after starters were awarded Blackshirts.
Typically, the black practice jersey are passed out the week before the season opener, but coaches held off this year through the first 10 games.
After the Huskers held a two-hour workout Wednesday, Pelini said they have a couple things to clean up before taking on Kansas State Saturday.
The game starts at 2:30 p.m. and will be aired on pay-per-view.
