The Broncos don’t just want to win a game Sunday. They want to do something they haven’t done since the middle stages of the 2006 season.

Launch a winning streak on the road.

The Broncos haven’t won back-to-back roadies since Games 8 and 9 in ’06. They could do it Sunday, though, with a win over the Falcons after their victory over the Browns at Cleveland.

Easier said than done, folks.

The Falcons, more than any other NFL franchise, are a tale of two teams. As in, great at home and not so great on the road.

Atlanta is 2-3 away from the Georgia Dome and 4-0 inside its friendly confines. Matt Ryan has completed 70.2 percent of his passes at home, with five touchdown passes, no interceptions and one sack.

On the road, Ryan has completed 54.2 percent, with six TD passes, five INTs and 11 sacks.

Add it all up and there’s only one conclusion to draw. The Broncos probably aren’t going to win Sunday. But if they do, it would be the most impressive victory of their season.
