EDMONTON, ALBERTA — Joe Sakic will miss another game Saturday night when the Avalanche plays the Edmonton Oilers.
Sakic remains in Denver with a back injury. It will be the third full game he will have missed this season.
The Avs are hopeful Sakic will play Tuesday in Calgary.
