Time’s running short to grow your Mo (that’s Australian slang for mustache) long this month, but there’s still plenty of opportunity for Borat wannabes to participate in “Movember” with or without a lip caterpillar.
DC Shoes is hosting an online eBay auction through 6 p.m. Saturday in support of the annual month-long mustache party held to raise money and awareness for men’s health and the fight against prostate cancer. Auction items include autographed paraphernalia from DC team riders Rob Dyrdek, Dave Mirra, Chad Kagy, Nate Adams, Allan Cooke, Lauri Heiskari, Devun Walsh, Aaron Biitner, Ken Block and the DC Surf Team.
Among them are Bell helmets, DC shoes, skateboard decks, snowboards, DVDs, posters and pictures, plus autographed items from Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, Adam Sandler and members of the band Panic At The Disco. Donations are tax-deductible, and all proceeds raised from the auction will go to Movember’s partners at the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
