LONGMONT, Colo.—Longmont police say they’ve received 25 complaints that credit card numbers used in local restaurants were stolen and used to make purchases out of state.

Police Cmdr. Tim Lewis said Monday the credit cards were used at up to three restaurants. He says officers are investigating.

Louis Cavallo of Longmont told the Times-Call his number was used for a $900 purchase at a Wal-Mart in Las Vegas.
