Lights, camera, no action — because there’s no snow. Glenwood Springs marketing and tourism officials were excited when ABC’s “Good Morning America” was set to feature the mountain city leading into Christmas.

The segment was to feature Hotel Colorado’s annual lighting ceremony, which occurs the day after Thanksgiving. But there’s no snow to give a cozy winter setting for the cameras.

The TV show’s producers say they’re looking at Vail for the segment — but it depends on whether there’s snow.
