A 49-year-old Pueblo man was crushed to death by his dump truck tonight when the jacks he had put on concrete blocks slipped loose, police said.
Police did not release his name pending the notification of his family.
He was working underneath the truck about 5:15 p.m. in an alley downtown, between South Union and South Main streets.
The man was crushed beneath the motor and was dead when the Pueblo Fire Department lifted the truck off him, according to police.
