A 22-year-old Brighton man was killed Thursday when he flipped his Oldsmobile Alero Coupe after he ran off East 144th Avenue about 15 miles north of Watkins.
State troopers said Matthew A. Johansmeier of Brighton may have been driving too fast to make the turn in the road just before 7 a.m.
Johansmeier was thrown from the car as it rolled three times. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt, according to the Colorado Highway Patrol.
