The CBI announced late tonight that the search for a Conifer woman had been called off after she was found in Park County.

No further details were available.

Earlier, Jefferson County officials said they were “extremely concerned” about the whereabouts of 86-year-old Laurette Doerr.

She left her home in Conifer on Tuesday morning and never showed up at her intended destination, her daughter’s home in south Denver.

She was expected by noon. Sheriff’s deputies said she is a diabetic and has a thyroid condition, but she doesn’t take medications that would affect her mental capacity. She is known to pull over and take short naps in her car when she gets tired while driving.

Her car is a blue 2000 Subaru Impreza station wagon with Colorado license plates PAZ9120. She usually travels U.S. 285 from Conifer to south Denver, deputies said.

She is 5-foot-1, weighs 135 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information can call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 303-271-0211.
