Three sisters were injured in a traffic accident in Loveland on Saturday afternoon and taken to area hospitals — one by helicopter.
Loveland Police said a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am driven by a 16-year-old Loveland girl collided with a 2004 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by a 28-year-old male, also of Loveland.
The accident, at the intersection of U.S. 34 and Sculptor Drive, happened just after 4:20 p.m.
Police said the 16-year-old and her 10-year-old sister were transported by ambulance to the Medical Center of the Rockies. An 11-year-old sister was taken to The Children’s Hospital by medevac helicopter.
Authorities did not release the girls’ names or conditions.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
