A 14-year-old boy has died from his injuries after he was struck by a car in Parker, police said Sunday.
The teen, who has not been named by police, was in the median, though not the crosswalk, of an unlit intersection at Hilltop Road and Hidden River Lane in Parker when he was struck at about 6 p.m. Saturday. He was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, then airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Aurora, where he died.
The driver who hit the boy was interviewed by police. No charges have been filed, though the fatality is still under investigation, police spokeswoman Sara Walla said Sunday.
Police do not think speed or alcohol was a factor, she said. The Denver Post
