There were no surprises on the Broncos’ inactive list for the game Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Star cornerback Champ Bailey (groin), outside linebacker D.J. Williams (knee) and running back Selvin Young (groin) were held out for at least one more week.

Middle linebacker Nate Webster returned after missing the previous three games with a left knee injury. Spencer Larsen, a rookie who had been filling in for Webster at middle linebacker, returned to fullback where he will start.

The Broncos only dressed two tailbacks — rookie Peyton Hillis and Tatum Bell. Also inactive were running back P.J. Pope, fullback Andrew Pinnock, defensive end Tim Crowder, safety Marlon McCree and newly signed safety Herana-Daze Jones.

Nic Clemons, a defensive tackle who had been inactive in recent weeks, was given an alternative home orange jersey and will be part of the front four rotation.

It’s the second time this season the Broncos are wearing their alternative orange tops.
