LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska tight end Hunter Teafatiller (TEA-fah-til-er) has pleaded guilty to a second drunken-driving offense.

He also admitted Monday that he violated the probation he got in 2007 on his first drunken-driving offense.

Sentencing for the senior from Kingsburg, Calif., is set for Jan. 9.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Teafatiller’s blood-alcohol level was 0.2—more than twice the legal limit—when he was pulled over June 1.

The 22-year-old was arrested twice on suspicion of drunken driving within a three-month period in 2007. He wasn’t prosecuted in the first case. He pleaded guilty in the second case and was sentenced to probation.
