CASTLE ROCK, Colo.—The son of a Denver police officer has been ordered to stand trial on a charge of attempted murder in the wounding of a Douglas County deputy.
Nineteen-year-old Brandin Eugene Kreuzer is accused of shooting a deputy in the arm on June 28. The deputy was treated and released.
Kreuzer appeared in court Thursday. He’s also a suspect in an armed robbery and several burglaries and auto thefts.
He faces 120 charges including attempted first-degree murder of a peace officer, reckless endangerment, burglary, robbery and motor vehicle theft.
Denver police officer Kevin Kreuzer said last month he is Brandin Kreuzer’s father.
Nineteen-year-old Taylor Moudy of Castle Rock faces the same charges stemming from the same incidents. His next court appearance is Jan. 26.
