LAMAR — A teen driver and a couple from Las Animas County were killed when the teen lost control of his car Saturday in southeast Colorado.
Police say 18-year-old Miguel Reyes of Lamar in Prowers County was driving a 2005 Cadillac Escalade east on U.S. 50 about 18 miles east of Pueblo when he lost control on a curve.
Reyes crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming 1998 GMC truck. Both people in the truck — Darla and Lon Jackson of Kim — were killed, as was Reyes.
