Cow town on parade
The Old West returns to the streets of Denver as cowboys drive longhorns from LoDo to Colfax to the delight of small children, tourists and downtown workers.
The cattle are accompanied by marching bands, vintage wagons, rodeo queens, Western dignitaries and the grand marshal, famed cowboy poet and humorist Baxter Black. Barbecue lunches will be on sale for $8 in the Wells Fargo Atrium at 17th Street and Broadway to raise money for 4-H clubs.
