DENTON, Texas—Collin Dennis scored 14 points and North Texas rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat Denver 69-62 Thursday night.

North Texas used a 21-7 run to get back in the game after trailing Denver 39-22 at halftime. Adam McCoy, who finished with 11 points, hit a 3-pointer to cut Denver’s lead to 46-43 with 11:58 left in the second half. Dominique Johnson scored eight of his 11 points in just more than a minute as North Texas (10-7, 3-3 Sun Belt) took a 54-52 lead. All of Johnson’s points came in the second half.

Brian Stafford and Nate Rohnert each had 15 points for Denver (7-10, 2-4).
