COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Police say a substitute teacher from Colorado Springs has been arrested on suspicion of trading child pornography.
Police say 52-year-old Kyle G. Speed was arrested Friday at Spring Creek Youth Services Center, where he was working as a substitute teacher. He was placed in the El Paso County jail on suspicion of sexual exploitation of children, a class three felony.
Police say Speed was tied to a worldwide child pornography ring in a probe that originated in New Zealand.
He is being held on $10,000 bond.
