COLORADO SPRINGS — The pastor of New Life Church plans to discuss the latest sex allegations involving the church’s former leader, Ted Haggard, during today’s services.
Brady Boyd succeeded Haggard as senior pastor of the Colorado Springs church after a male prostitute claimed to have had a three-year relationship with Haggard. Boyd now says a male church volunteer in his 20s also reported having a sexual relationship with Haggard.
KRDO in Colorado Springs reported that the man provided the TV station an audio recording of his conversations with Haggard. In them, Haggard calls the relationship “inappropriate” and asks for forgiveness.
