PUEBLO — A 14-year-old boy was killed on Interstate 25 Sunday after being ejected from a car in a crash.
According to a Pueblo police report, the 1989 Honda sedan rolled across several northbound lanes after crashing into the center median.
The driver, Dawn Castro, 28 , of Pueblo, also was ejected. A boy, 5, remained in the car. Details of their injuries were not released.
A male passenger who was not identified fled the scene after speaking with police.
Investigators believe speed and alcohol may been factors in the crash.
