The Denver Post will correct all errors occurring in its news columns. If you find a problem with a story — an error of fact or a point requiring clarification — please call the city desk, 303-954-1201.

Clarification: A New York Times article on Page 24A of The Denver Post on Sunday noted that a bakery that produces Girl Scout cookies had failed to include a symbol on some boxes denoting that the cookies were baked in a kosher kitchen. Cookies sold by Girl Scouts of Colorado come from a different bakery, and each box is accurately marked as kosher.

Correction: Because of incorrect information provided to The Denver Post, a story on Page 1A Monday about food stamps incorrectly said retirement accounts are used in determining a person’s eligibility for food stamps. In fact, a retirement account that has a federal tax-deferred status is not considered.
