The Weld County Sheriff’s Department released the description of a man wanted for the robbery of a Keenesburg convenience story Saturday night.
He fits the description of a suspect in a convenience store robbery in Hudson two weeks earlier, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Department.
He is described as white or Hispanic, about 5 feet, nine inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds. He also was said to have a slight Southern accent.
The man robbed the Market Street Mart about 10 p.m. Saturday. He had a black semi-automatic pistol and wore a black hoodie. He ha red bandana over his face.
The same man may have been one of the two men wearing bandanas over their faces who robbed the Barn Store in Hudson on Jan. 8.
The men left the Barn Store in a white Chevy or GMC 3500 pickup, witnesses said.
