CLEVELAND—The trial of a suburban Cleveland man accused of planning a Columbine-style attack has been rescheduled for Feb. 17.

Authorities say 34-year-old Lee Billi of Lakewood exchanged e-mails in April with an Indiana teenager to discuss simultaneous mass murders at the teen’s high school and at another location police haven’t identified.

Billi’s trial initially was to start Monday.

A 16-year-old in South Bend, Ind., pleaded guilty in June to conspiracy to commit murder for plotting to attack Penn High School near Mishawaka. He was placed in juvenile detention indefinitely.

The teen told the court he never intended to carry out the plot.

Billi has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and other charges. If convicted he could face more than 300 years imprisonment.
