Parker police are looking for an armed man who entered a woman’s home, shot her and left the gun behind.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday in the 19800 block of Victorian Way, in the Town and Country Village subdivision, Parker police said in a news release.
The 27-year-old victim, who was hit in the left shoulder, told police she did not know the assailant.
The shooter fled the scene on foot. Police and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office canine unit searched for the man but were unable to find him.
The gunman is described as white, in his 20s, with a strawberry blond to brown goatee. He was wearing blue jeans, a black hooded shirt and a black cap.
