New Frontier Bancorp and New Frontier Bank of Greeley have signed a agreement with Colorado Financial Holdings LLC, a Boulder-based investment group led by Mark Wong and Gary Jacobs, to invest a minimum of $30 million in new capital in the bank in exchange for at least 51 percent ownership of the holding company.
The investment comes after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. required the bank to raise more capital.
