PUEBLO, Colo.—Police are investigating reports of financial discrepancies at Pueblo Goodwill Industries, and the organization says four employees have been put on leave.

David Skul, vice chairman of Pueblo Goodwill’s board, says police were asked Friday to look into “discrepancies in the accounting and handling of cash deposits.”

Skul declined to name the employees who are on leave.

The Pueblo Chieftain reported Thursday that police suspect at least $15,000 in cash was stolen and that Goodwill credit card charges are being reviewed.

Goodwill says it is conducting its own investigation.
