DENVER—To woo budget-conscious customers, Qdoba Mexican Grill is lowering its price for a meal with a full-size chicken entree, chips and salsa, and a drink to $6.99.
The special offer begins Monday at participating locations and represents savings of roughly 20 percent on the same meal.
“Given the economy, we know people are seeking value right now,” said David Craven, Qdoba’s director of marketing. He said the fast-casual chain is keeping ingredients and portion sizes the same during the special.
He said the offer is aimed at drawing new customers and bringing old customers back, some of whom have been forgoing a drink with meals.
Qdoba has a corporate office in Wheat Ridge, Colo., and is owned by Jack in the Box Inc.
