Wheat Ridge police are investigating what appears to be a domestic dispute that has turned deadly and looking for the shooter.
A woman was run off the road on Wadsworth Boulevard at 38th Avenue at about 10 p.m. tonight, said Wheat Ridge police spokeswoman Lisa Stigall.
The man then got out of his car and shot the woman, killing her, Stigall said. He is thought to be the woman’s ex-boyfriend, she said.
No names have been released, but police are looking for a black Dodge Caliber that the assailant was seen racing away in.
