Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood plan to make Denver one of 14 cities they’ll play this summer, following the success of stints at Madison Square Garden and Chicago’s Crossroads Guitar Festival. Expect solo hits and classics from their 1969 super group Blind Faith. Tickets for the June 21 show are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($49.50-$150, Ticketmaster)

Vans Warped Tour hasn’t made many official announcements yet, but bands like Saosin are already penciling in time to play the annual emo-punk festival. The tour stops by the parking lot at Invesco Field on Aug. 9. Check back here for on-sale information. (warpedtour.com)

Hot Tuna is a long way from its days as a Jefferson Airplane side project, but Jack Casady, Jorma Kaukonen and their band are still committed to their electro-acoustic blues. Michelle Shocked built her career the old- fashioned way, with considered songwriting and, of course, legal battles with her record label. The mercurial singer plays the Bluebird Theater on April 17. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($25-$30, Ticketmaster)

The Harlem Globetrotters may never fully vanquish their foes, but they’ve made a long career of trying. The basketball-comedy team plays the Budweiser Events Center April 2 and April 5. Tickets are on sale. ($25-$90, )

Stand Up! features Denver favorites Josh Blue and Kathleen Madigan at the Buell Theatre on April 25. Tickets are on sale. ($38.50-$103.50, Ticketmaster)

SnoCore Tour ’09 will feature Static-X, Saliva, Burn Halo and the Flood when it hits the Gothic Theatre on April 30. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($25, Ticketmaster)

Damien Jurado brings his melodic, melancholy songs to the Hi-Dive on April 5 with Portland songstress Laura Gibson. Tickets are on sale. ($10, hi-dive.com)
